Our group opens a PhD position for the period 2021-2024 on the research theme “Towards Efficient Catalytic Photo- and Electro-chemical Benzene Carbonylation with Group IX Metal
Complexes” and supervised by Niklas Von Wolff and Julen Bonin.

Since we expect a funding from the IDEX international program, the candidate must fulfill the following criteria:
– to be in France (if) for less than 12 months in the previous 3 years
– to hold a Master degree for less than 4 years
– to never have started a PhD before

This funding is particularly appealing since it is valid for 42 months, with a salary 20% higher than french standard. The project includes a secondment period at the Weismann Institute of Science (Israel) in the group of Prof. David Milstein.
